Its change over time at Yarallah! The spring grass has now turned it’s rich old gold. We have sown paddocks of millet and brassica and the lambs are finishing well. We applied a biodynamic fertiliser on one of the paddocks which has worked well. The green paddocks certainly stand out in the earthy coloured patchwork.
Thanks to the help of the Millet – our ‘Spring Lamb’ has continued well into the summer. The lambs are also supplemented with grain to ensure the best finish and meat quality. You can order a whole lamb (21-22kg) for just $200 which is fantastic value for fantastic food and all born and raised on our property near Benalla – North/East Vic.
We are now supplying Tellers restaurant in Shepparton – 55 Fryers Street, so go in and see Matthew, Dana and John and try some of our professionally cooked ‘Yarallah Lamb’. We are also – for the sixth year – providing our lamb to the local butcher – ‘Rettke Meats’ in Carrier street Benalla.
